Job Nahi Asaan per Koshish Nahi Chorenge

One day Satya visited campus, and I was so determined to talk to him about job …. To tell him look it’s not working for me

Standing there I could see Satya talking to somebody (somebody I didn’t know … but was annoyed at because he was taking hell lot of time!!!). But I made sure I stand by and wait and so I did.

Finally I got a chance ….

Satya do you have a minute … I asked him

Yes tell me…. he said

And I told him my apprehensions…….

In the end of it he said, "Arre ho jayega koshish nahi chorenge …. "

My irritation and apprehension everything disappeared … There on started focusing on what he asked me to do rather than thinking about “it’s not working out”

Few hours later, when I found myself in front of my lappy screen fighting with words to make some sense ….. I remembered Dr Jagdish Chhokar, who taught us about charismatic leader in our Leadership session , those who weren’t fortunate enough to attend those classes keep watching this space for what charismatic leader is …. ;P ( I will write about it someday !!!!!!)

  9. every step is a learning in it self .. Its a good way(write) to analyze your choices ... you can make out the learning and experience you gain from every day choices you make ... so that you never repeat the mistakes .. and always know how to handle situations from past experience ... keep up the good work and keep writing regularly ..

  12. This is a very good platform to exchange views on leadership... Leadership is also a skill.... skill are things we develop ourselves they are a mix of how we see things.... boundaries...limits....people etc. Hence in this way one may say that leaders are also made.

Great work Misha, lets use this forum and help all of us focus on the right kind of issues that make a leader in you. Satya's capability to instill a spirit to fight is a big skill that leaders possess. During the world war 2 the German Luftbaffe (air force)had been pounding the hell out of Britain's cities. Even London was not spared. To make things worse Hitler had already developed the first version of a big range ballistic missile they called the V2 and he was using these to pound Brittain day and night. It was during this time that the world saw the leadership of Sir Winston Churchill as he instilled resilience through the radio and television channels amongst the whole of Britain. I can never forget the speech......Brittain fought back the Luftbaffe was convincingly beaten by the Royal Air Force (American planes like the mustang helped RAF in this task).
Now when we retrospect... we may see where it all began.
Right now where we are on the placement thing is perhaps a situation that demands active resolution from all of us. We have to trust the efforts of our placement cell and focus more on how to capitalize from the opportunities they get to us. That's the best way forward. We will have to fight and fight and fight and fight and never die.... never die.
